I really like the glads! Just beautiful. That reminds me, I have a bag that I really need to plant! Happy gardening :)
Angela ! What pretty flowers you have here : )I just bought a new geum yesterday and can't wait to see how it does this year .. gotta' have geum in the garden ! : )
Great pics Angela - My calandrinia is just starting, too. It's in a horribly rocky, hard, low water, hot spot but is plugging along. I've put some cuttings about the garden this year - we'll see what happens! My Billbergia has never bloomed: How much sun does yours get?
Cloverann, my Billbergia doesn't get any direct sun. I would say it's in bright shade. I should add that I have two crowded clumps-- in pots-- and that the younger of the two pots took two to three years to start blooming well. I have grown Queen's Tears in the ground as well, in a morning sun situation under a tree.
I had the same pink Chilean Rock Purslane in my garden last year, it's very beautiful. Too bad the seeds are not growing back this spring.
What beautiful photos. Love the Chinese Ground Orchids.
Such delicate flowers and wonderful photos of them. That's what happens when a pro is involved!
Love the phots, I too have just planted a Calandrina in my SO Cal yard. I found it at Home Depot of all places....1 gallon for 7.99!
