Drama By Design Article in Seattle Times

Drama by design by Valerie Easton (appeared in the Seattle Times)

This is exactly how I've been feeling about my garden-- nice, but where's the drama? I used inexpensive spray paint to add some drama. See some other ways in this article and in the referenced book, Shocking Beauty.

the drama starts when one of your little doggies digs up a favorite plant...

  2. Funny... I was just re-planting some pansies that mysteriously flung themselves from their freshly planted positions. When I asked Dan if he knew what happened to my pansies, he just looked at me with confused interest, as if to say, "Us? You couldn't possibly imagine I or my sister had anything to do with this savage act. Annie, did you see who dug up the pansies?" "No, Dan, I certainly did not." Those two, they're thick as thieves.
