Not that I wish the misery wrought upon by a recession, but I feel like there is a collective self examination going on with rising food prices and gasoline. As with most anything, there is a silver lining in all this as bleak as it may be, one of which is the growing re-emergence of homesteading whether it be on 5 acres or a quarter acre. Great post.
