Angela: I found your blog through About.com (just in case you're keeping track). You've got some great info, though you're a few miles north of my Santa Barbara base of operations. But we're not that different. I've just started my own blog regarding sustainable landscape design. It links to my TV show and some other fun places. ReplyDeleteTo get the word out about your garden blog, submit it to Garden Web's Garden Voices (http://voices.gardenweb.com/), to other blog directories (just Google "blog directories" or look on other people's blogs to see what they're using) and be sure to add sidebar links to gardening blogs you like.
Also, peruse the Blogger site for ways to improve traffic. Adding one-click feeds and e-mail subscriptions makes it easier for people to find your new posts.
The easiest thing to do is look at other Blogger blogs you like and use the nifty add-ons they use.
Santa Barbara, huh? Gorgeous place to garden blog, I'm sure. It's good that you're mixing your gardening with other interests. Sometimes we gardeners seem so one-dimensional. ;-)
