We are looking into this at my place of work. Restaurant food waste to energy via digesters at the waste water treatment plant. It's a real technology with real possibilities. I recently watched, Garbage: The Revolution Starts at Home, and in Canada, where it was filmed, they separate their "wet" dry and recycleables. From food waste to diapers, it all goes into the anearobic digester to create methane. True reuse at work!
