December blooms

It's windy today, but I managed to snap a few pics.


Tree dahlias are still blooming!


Cigar plant (Cuphea melvillea) is still keeping hummingbirds well fed.

January 16 edit: I now think this is C. micropetala.


Princess flower (Tibouchina) is blooming.

    I was at the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers last week, and out by their parking lot I spied a tree dahlia blooming! Same color as yours. I took photos...

    I figured I'd better document those princess flowers before the bush succumbs to winter frosts/freezes. It was windy when I took the picture, but I figured I'd at least capture the color.
